Alternatively take a walk down Long Street to take in the diversity of the Rainbow nation, together with its arts and crafts and curios. At night the area comes alive with restaurants, bars and nightclubs all in the vicinity. Historical Cape Town, the business district, the V&A Waterfront, ferry rides to Robben Island, the Table Mountain cableway, Signal Hill and Lion's Head, Clifton and Camps Bay Beaches are all only a short drive away. Further afield is the CTICC conventional centre 10 minutes away, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens 15 minutes away, the Constantia Winelands, sporting stadiums and the airport 20 minutes away and many top golf courses 30 minutes away.
